Golden princess in a radiant realm

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Goldlina. When she was born, her cheeks were soft and pink, but her parents loved gold so much that they surrounded her with it. Slowly, Goldlina herself turned completely golden.

Her mother and father became worried and wondered who could help her. One day, her mother remembered a mysterious person who lived inside a cage and was said to have great knowledge. They went to meet him and asked for advice.

The person told them, “Take her to the Glass Mountain. But be careful—do not let her look at her reflection.”

So they began their journey. After a long time, they reached an island where the Glass Mountain stood shining brightly. They stayed there for a night and then went closer to the mountain, carefully avoiding any reflection.

A year later, a captain visited them and said, “You have changed for the better. But remember—never look into the mountain again.”

Another year passed, and curiosity grew. “Just one peek—what could happen?” they thought. That night, a maid and a princess convinced the nurse, and together they took a quick look at the mountain.

The moment they saw their reflection, they turned into glass.

A year later, the captain returned to take them home. When they reached their house, Goldlina’s parents were shocked once again.
